Prof. Hartmut Schröder has been dealing with various aspects of the therapeutic use of language for many years and, from the perspective of cultural studies, sheds light on the concept of information and its effect on psyche and body. Placebo and Nocebo, as well as advertising measures are central to influencing feelings through information. The symbolic added value is in the meaning of the conscious information.
Andreas Mascha shows in a complementary way the concept of exformation, which comes about when already learned information comes up concentrated and can be unfolded by an interpreter.
Through information and exformation different levels of healing can now be considered in which symbols and words have their effect.
